What are Indian sweets?
Indian sweets – known as mithai – are colourful little bursts of joy, rich with history and flavour. But here’s the thing: as dreamy as they are, traditional Indian sweets can be very rich – often loaded with refined sugar, ghee, and artificial colours.
While they’ve long been the go-to for weddings and festivals, they’re usually a once-in-a-while indulgence – not exactly the kind of thing you’d snack on midweek. That’s where we come in.

The Desilicious Reinvention
At Desilicious, we’ve reimagined two Indian classics – barfi and laddoo – with a healthy twist.
Our barfi is like an Indian flapjack: nutty, satisfying, and naturally sweet.
Our laddoo is a soft, spiced sweet ball – still indulgent, but made without refined sugar or heavy oils.
All the flavour, none of the compromise. Perfect for snacking, anytime.
